IAG, a leading mergers and acquisitions company representing small to medium sized privately held companies, is pleased to announce the sale of its client, a Moving and Storage Company.
IAG announced today that it has facilitated the sale of a Moving and Storage Company in Kansas. The buyer was an individual who contacted IAG in October of 2011. The Moving and Storage Company was listed with IAG in March of 2011. Once the buyer was approved via the SBA, and terms were agreed upon, the sale was finalized.
This moving, storage and delivery business was founded in 1950 and managed by the seller from 1977 to its recent sale. This well-established business has a large storage facility and has been an agent with one of America's most recognized moving companies for the last 25 years. There is no job too big or too small for this company that has always taken pride in the services they offer their customers. Some of their specialties include: custom crating, local moves, cross-country moves and international moves. They are proud to be a part of a nationwide network under one of America’s largest transit companies. Commercial clients have used this business for their moving and shipping needs such as tradeshow and exhibit shipping, office relocation, record and document management, packing supplies and more. When IAG introduced the Individual Buyer to the Moving Company, it was immediately obvious there would be a successful and profitable outcome for both buyer and seller!
IAG provided a business valuation and confidential business review, through a third-party valuation team, in order to position the seller to understand exactly what the company was worth at fair market value and defend that top-dollar asking price to all potential buyers. To maximize the seller’s opportunities for attracting the most lucrative offers, IAG advertised the business and its assets through various merger and acquisition websites in addition to presenting it for sale to IAG’s own group of serious, qualified buyers. IAG quickly analyzed that this Moving and Storage Company would be a perfect match for several of our buyers and, after only being on the market for 7 months, a transaction between the Moving Company and the Individual Buyer was finalized with the help of IAG's services.
